I AM RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL IN DISTRICT 39
Get to Know Me

WHERE I CAME FROM
I am doing this virtually all alone. I am an 18 year old born and raised in New York City, living in district 39 my entire life. Since I was young, attending P.S. 230, I was looking for ways to benefit and enhance the lives of those around me. Growing up I've been surrounded by every type of culture, becoming more and more understanding of what we need as a community as diverse as district 39. While he idea of running for city council at my young age may seem ridiculous to some, I truly believe it is the next logical step in my journey to spread my love for community and change.
WHERE I AM GOING
I love my community. I owe who I am to district 39, its shaped me into who I am today. Sadly, I feel as though my generation has been becoming more and more subject to the mercy of those who came before us. Although we may be the "loudest" generation, we must begin to seek change within the system and work with those who came before us to ensure the success of those who will come after. I aim to restructure the school system to the needs of kids today, needs that only we know. I aim to prevent the ridiculous amounts of preventable traffic accidents claiming countless innocent lives year after year. Most of all, I aim to begin to usher in a new generation into the political system.
THE PLAN
Getting Ready for the Future
None of know what the future will hold. In such trying times it is harmful for us to act as a reactionary society, we much plan for our future. Through things such as new affordable housing legislation, school system reform, and ensuring everyone has a voice, I truly believe that we can not only solve our problems today, but make sure they never return. It is simply not enough to live off of short term solutions, its time for some long lasting, meaningful change.
